There are plenty of odd animal friendships out there, and some of the cutest involve dogs! They’re intuitive, intelligent, kind, and friendly, so it’s really no wonder that pups end up gaining buddies everywhere they go, in all shapes, sizes, and forms!
Take, for example, these housemates and best friends: Plato the rat and a beagle pup! They love to hang out on Mom’s bed together and play with each other, and that’s what they’re doing right now. Mom keeps trying to encourage Plato to go get the big beagle pup, but the little rat is understandably not too sure if that’s a good idea!
Luckily, the pup is a gentle one, even during the most rough portions of play. She makes sure that her little mouse friend won’t be harmed by her fake bites and paw attacks. What a good girl! It’s no surprise that they overcame barriers to become pals!
