Toys are wonderful for pups no matter what age. Some of them even get super attached to their favourites, never letting go of them even as they become so much older. It always melts our hearts to see old pups with their favourite childhood toys, so many years later!
We don’t see ponies as toys for dogs often, let alone hard ones, but that doesn’t seem to faze Pippo, the Golden Retriever. Decked in a cute blue bandana, he’s more than happy to chomp down on his pony and toss it around as he wiggles around on the kitchen floor! He even refuses to let go of it when he’s done, instead taking it along with him as he leaves.
One thing that’s of concern though is that the toy is small, and could potentially be swallowed by Pippo! It’s a good thing Mom is on hand to supervise, but we’d advise you to avoid buying small toys for your pups.
