Ever wonder what your dog is thinking when they do some of the things they do? Why does a dog scratch at the ground and then walk in a circle before lying down?
You can understand a dog in the wild doing that to make that spot more comfortable to lay in – but a domesticated dog doesn’t have to make the floor more comfortable. How about digging? Why do some dogs dig in the backyard? Are they looking for buried treasure? Maybe they put a bone in the ground and want it back.
Or maybe they are digging a tunnel to the other side of the world! In this video, Cherie, a beagle, is trying to bury her bone, in the couch. Why her dad let her dig and dig on the couch cushions is beyond us. But, for nearly three minutes Cherie digs at the cushions! Watch and see if she is successful!
