Parakeets can be a little moody and seemingly unpredictable, and they’re often pretty fierce for their size! Bird owners know that they need to be ready for the occasional nip and peck, even when they have the best intentions. Luckily for this pet Mom, someone very special has her back!
Charlie the parakeet had just given his Mom a sharp little nip when Shadow the German shepherd pup ran right up to his cage and began to bark angrily, defending Mommy at all costs. Naturally, the high-spirited Charlie didn’t like that, so the two began a bickering quarrel of sorts as Shadow sternly reprimanded the bird and Charlie tried to bite the pup!
What a sweetheart of a pup Shadow is for being so protective over Mommy! The pup is going to be keeping a very close eye on Charlie’s antics for the next few days… or weeks… or years…
