Dogs have a pretty easy life if they live with responsible owners. The biggest job a family dog probably has is ‘guarding’ the house while the family is away.
Most adult dogs will sleep about 12 to 14 hours each day – so how much guarding do they really do?! As you may know, dogs will bond with us. They may also have a strong connection to a particular toy or blanket. The puppy in this video did not realize that the toy she was taking was Charlie’s favorite toy!
Charlie, a beagle, took the theft in stride and did not get upset. Instead, Charlie went and found another toy to trade with the puppy! What a smart dog! Charlie simply corrected the youngster by distracting him with a different toy! This is expert parenting at its finest! You simply distract and redirect the younger dog and get what you want!
