Pups aren’t as big a hunter as cats are, but they are still predator animals – hunting is in their blood. In fact, this is a major issue when it comes to training service pups! Bigger animals such as the German Shepherd have a stronger innate prey drive, meaning that they are more likely to go chasing after small animals and birds.
Since this is simply a characteristic of the species as a whole, it is no surprise when this Golden Retriever puppy starts showcasing this tendency! This puppy starts sneaking down the length of the kitchen, trying to emulate a hunt. His footsteps are slow and steady – quite impressive, given how impatient puppies can be.
Of course, since the older Golden Retriever has been openly watching his younger brethren the whole time, this puppy fails to surprise his friend! This is especially so since the puppy sneaks up until he is nearly nose-to-nose with the older pup. Oh well, better luck next time!
