Pups are always chasing after little critters that they see running around, and sometimes it’s up to their parents to make sure none of those smaller creatures come to harm.
With how curious dogs are, it’s no surprise that they sometimes get a little carried away when they spot a tiny animal dashing past them at full speed!
This golden retriever pup spotted an anole lizard in the grass, and he immediately began to bark at it and lunge for it. But the brave lizard didn’t feel like running away, preferring instead to glare threateningly at the pup – not a great strategy when you’re several times smaller than your enemy! When the pup tries to put the lizard in his mouth, Mommy has to rush to step in and save it!
But even after almost being eaten, the lizard still won’t run away, so Mom has to pick him up and carry him to some plants. It’s a good thing Mommy was around to save the little critter from her mischievous pup!
