Dogs of all kinds can become best friends – no matter the breed, age, or even size! Some might be nervous about allowing their smaller pups to play around huge ones, but there are some big dogs that make perfect companions for even the tiniest of fellow creatures, as we see here.

Lita the Great Dane and Buddy the dachshund pup might look very different, but they’re absolute best friends! They love to play together on Mom’s bed, growling and fake biting and swiping at each other. Buddy goes all out, but Lita makes sure to be patient and light on her much smaller brother. She truly is a gentle giant!

These two pups have a precious bond, and they really do enjoy playing with each other like this! Buddy has no reason to fear his elder sister’s size, and she makes sure to be patient and caring of him. What an adorable pair!
