Playdates are common for young children. It is a time for the kids to meet others their own age and to be social. It helps them learn to be part of a community and to share and to get along with others.
Plus, it gives mom a break from being alone with a little one all day! Our dogs enjoy social interactions as well. Many communities have dog parks we can go to that allow our pups to run around unleashed and to interact with their fellow canines! They one rule at most dog parks is that you need to be around in case your dog gets over-excited!
Sherman, a bulldog, is out and enjoying the Toronto English Bulldog meet. The Toronto English Bulldog club gets together once a month so their bulldogs can meet and greet! If you and your bulldog live near Toronto, consider going! It looks like a blast! Click here for more information.
