Buffy the fur ball is having tons and tons of fun today and when you see why, you’re going to be so jealous! From fields to snow to ice, she’s been there done that. But let’s not forget safety first. Winter care is necessary if you’re a beagle parent. How long can your fur ball be outside in the snow?
According to BeaglePro, “On days that are below freezing (keeping in mind the wind chill factor as well) or during any winter storms, you’ll want to limit outdoor exposure to 20 minutes. Once temperatures plummet to below 32 degrees (0 Celsius) a dog will expend energy to control body temperature. This puts stress on the whole body, including the heart.
