Raising puppies is a wonderful experience, but it is one that is a fair bit of hard work. You have to watch out and make sure the puppies are growing and hitting their developmental milestones as expected. After all, we all want healthy puppies to adopt out!
One of these important milestones is weaning these Labrador Retriever puppies from their mother – in other words, the transition from simply subsiding on just their mother’s milk to soft, solid foods. A good transition is a pretty important step to ensure these puppies will get all the nutrition they need, and will be ready to leave their mother once they are 7 weeks old!
This video happens to be the first time these puppies are eating solid food, and it looks like they are taking to it very well since they are eating it all with great gusto! These puppies are certainly well on their way to doing alright!
