Young children learn a lot by watching what their parents, siblings, and even other children do. They learn at an incredible rate. It is something to see a three-year-old say something that you have said out of the blue!
You take a moment, stare in amazement, and depending on what they say, you may smile with joy or cringe in horror! Dogs can learn by observation too. They watch their mom and dad dogs and learn how to be dogs. An older canine can watch his or her human parents and pick up a trick or two!
Take Skye, the German Shepherd for example. Skye is outside and wants to go in. No one seems to be willing to open the door for him, so he does it all by himself! Seems like the man taking the video had never seen this trick before and managed to catch it on video!
