When She Was A Puppy Everyone Wanted Her, Now She's Looking For Her Loving Home

Lily the pit bull pup was just three months old when Fur Friends In Need picked her up from the backyard of a Staten Island home. The pup had been stuck in that yard constantly, never allowed indoors.

Lily soon wound up in the home of Collin Brink, her foster Dad. When Collin started driving with her buckled in the front seat, she was shaking in fear. So he decided to place her on his lap, and she took a peaceful nap and relaxed until they arrived back at her temporary home.

Things seemed to be looking up when Lily was adopted. She got along well with her new pup sibling, and her new family was loving and kind.

But then, Lily began developing aggressive behavior around unknown dogs, and her family failed to address it or attempt to train her away from those actions, allowing her to carry on with this bad behavior.

Just five months after her adoption, Lily’s family, after taking no action to aid her behavioral problems. The poor pup found herself back in her original foster home, and now, she’s waiting to be adopted again and given another chance.

Now one year old, Lily is energetic and sweet, and she would love to be in a home where she is the only dog, and is also full of loving individuals who will shower her with playtimes and love. She forms very strong bonds with the people she comes into contact with, so expect her to stick right to you!

Lily often needs to wear a muzzle or stay in a crate, but she loves playing with her fellow foster pup siblings and is very relaxed and good around them. She has been attending training sessions and is now learning to be calmer around unfamiliar pups.

For now, she hopes to find a forever home that will continue this training. If you’re interested, click this link!
