If you have kids or dogs, you know the fight that can ensue over toys. You may have a certain way of dealing with a fight that happens over a toy.

For children, the toy probably has been given to one child, so figuring out who should have the toy isn’t usually a big deal. But, if you have dogs, you probably have some toys that are more or less for anyone. You can give one dog a chew toy, but you know that the other dog(s) will play with it too.

Sometimes, you find a stuffed toy that both dogs really (really) like. Everything is fine in the house when the dogs share.
