Because pups are social pack animals, it is important to ensure that they have company. In fact, some pup breeds need company so badly, they often end up develop separation anxiety!
So they can’t be separated from their parents for too long. Thankfully, socialization does help ease this problem if you got unlucky with the genetic lottery.
The best solution generally is, however, to get your lonely pup a sibling to play with! This is especially so with pups whose older companions have passed away, and need someone to fill in the void. Because most Moms and Dads prefer raising a potential lifelong companion, they will often pick up a puppy.
There is just one problem – puppies are very, very high energy! So this poor Labrador Retriever named Sultan is now stuck having to deal with his new baby brother, Beagu the Beagle, constantly begging him for playtime! Poor Sultan – hopefully he will get some sleep some more!
