When Your Pup Thinks He's A Lap Dog... Such Is The Situation Here!

When our dogs are young and small, we hold them in our arms, and they can sit on our laps. Those places become warm, safe, and happy places for our dogs.

The only trouble is that as puppies get older – they get bigger! Some breeds won’t get too large, but a German Shepherd puppy will not stay small for too long! When a large breed dog gets too big, we generally don’t hold them in our arms or offer them a spot on our laps.

But, they do remember the warm, safe feeling they got when they sat in our laps and will sometimes invite themselves up for a sit! OUCH! Check out German Shepherd in this video, trying to sit on mom’s lap! Let’s us be honest, she did invite him up there! He seemed rather comfy up there, not sure mom appreciated it though! She was a good sport about it!
