Who Let The Dogs Out?

Spoiler alert: It was Crackers!

It was this mastermind’s determination that led to the attempted jailbreak of the century! What wouldn’t he do for his friends? Crackers is only 5 months old, but he is the type of pup that wants his way or the highway. ‘No’ is not an option for him, especially when it comes to spending time with his best friends who live just next door. This Lab/St/ Bernard mix was about to make his grand escape!

Crackers loves playing with his friends and is energetic by nature. Their yards are separated by picket fences, and they enjoy walks in the night and having a good time together. This time, Crackers was about to have fun, but he wasn’t going to wait for the thumbs up from dad. He was going to get his cousins and go for a joy ride!

His bestest friend, Budders, a retriever/Pyrenees mix, and also Crackers’ cousin, is the one who got the ball rolling. He loosened a picket at the top and when Jessie came outside, he caught Crackers red-handed just as he was pulling the rest of the picket down! All of a sudden the cousins tried to wiggle their way through the opening at the same time! It was quite the sight.

Jessie was not in the least bit surprised or impressed. Crackers was in fact a repeat offender and this was his fifth time doing this! He was successful one and let’s say a half times, and managed to get Punkin through on one instance, but the other time her sister got stuck and they ended up taking out a picket to free her. Now, Jessie laughs at the little troublemakers and even has backup pickets for whenever they try to sneak some extra playtime. He knows for a fact Crackers will never give up!
