Camp Weequahic in Lakewood, Penn is where hundreds of rescued golden retrievers and the humans for whom they care descend to celebrate the rescued dogs!

The annual event, called Goldstock, is the inspiration behind the upcoming documentary Dog Camp.

So what is Goldstock exactly:

“It has been described as the most fun you can have with your dog and your dog can have with you… It is a time to share our love of dogs with people of like minds, all in support of rescue,” the camp’s website says.

This film was inspired by Goldstock, an annual get-together of hundreds of golden retrievers and the people they rescue. Follow our progress as we prepare for this year’s Goldstock on Labor Day weekend, and as we get the film ready for release in November.
