Woman Opens A Hospice Where She Spends Time With Abandoned Dogs In Their Final Days

Hospice is an important place for many people during their last days on Earth. Receiving around the clock care by compassionate caregivers, Hospice provides a safe and loving space during those final hours.

Dogs play an important part in our lives and they too deserve compassion during the final hours of their lives. The Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice is a place just like this, an initiative started by a compassionate nurse. Nicola Coyle is a retired nurse who started the doggy hospice.

The hospice is a shelter that takes care of sick, stray, and terminally ill dogs. Based in Mansfield, Nottingham, this hospice has been a blessing to many canine companions. The dogs are taken into the hospice if they have six months or less to live.

To make their last days the most special, the four-legged friends get an ice-cream from McDonald’s and even a big juicy steak! Every dog gets a birthday party and doggy cake, despite their actual birth dates.

Her hospice has gained much attention and stole the hearts of many citizens countrywide. With the donations from various communities, Nicola is lucky enough to be able to spend £500 on each furry-faced friend in their final days. A truly special initiative indeed!

Our canine companions are of the most loyal dogs in our lifetimes! Always by our side, they stick with us through thick and thin, deserving only the best end-of-life care too. Nicola’s hospice is a special place with an opportunity for love and affection in the final hours of many.
