Woman Rescues Pitbull From Neglectful Parent Who Skipped Town

Rose, a sweet Pitbull, was unfortunate to be a neglectful dog parent’s victim. She lived in a horrific situation and stayed for days without getting any care or attention.

There was no hope that her misery would end anytime soon until Maddy showed up and intervened.

Maddy learned about Rose and the ill-treatment she was getting from her friend. Her friend confided in her that their neighbor was maltreating the dog. Horrified by the news, Maddy told her friend to tell the neighbor to take moral responsibility for caring for Rose or re-home her to someone who would. Sadly, the man didn’t budge.

Maddy knew she had to do something, as she couldn’t fold her arms and let the dog continue to suffer. So, she took matters into her hands by going to retrieve the dog from the man. However, Maddy discovered that the man had already skipped town, leaving Rose inside her crate with no food or water.

She had been prepared to call the police if the man had refused to release Rose to her. Thankfully, there was no need to escalate the situation.

Despite being a broke grad student, Maddy has bravely taken up the responsibility of caring for Rose. The duo bonded quickly and are best buddies now. Rose is getting all the love she needs now, and Maddy is happy to give it to her.
