If you’ve ever tried taking a photo of or with your pup, you’d know how difficult it is to grab their attention and have them look at the camera. Instead of doing what you want them to, they’d most likely end up looking in elsewhere, running off in a different direction, or just not staying still enough, giving you nothing but blurry shots of the back of your pup’s neck! Oops!
But this pup parent has managed to find a way around that problem so he can take pictures with his pup, Zeus the Labrador retriever. The solution? It’s called a Pooch Selfie! Essentially, it’s a tennis ball attached to a clip that you can put on your phone over the camera to grab a pup’s attention when you want to take a selfie or picture of them!
And guess what – according to Zeus, it works! The second the Pooch Selfie is on the phone, he’s immediately standing to attention and playing close heed to it. Don’t have a Pooch Selfie but still want a picture with your pup? I’m sure there are ways to make a makeshift version – get creative!
