In Louisville, Kentucky, a miracle just occurred that has everyone talking. After a maintenance worker at an apartment building turned on the trash compactor for the day, he realized that it was broken. As he approached the machine to see what was wrong, he heard an odd noise coming from inside.
He was horrified when he realized that a dog had been left in the compactor. He wasted no time getting the helpless pup out!
If the machine hadn’t jammed, that dog would have met a horrible fate. How could someone be so heartless as to leave a living animal inside a trash compactor? Thank goodness this man thought to look inside. Apparently, there was also a crate in the compactor. It seemed the dog had managed to get out of the crate, but couldn’t escape the compactor on his own. He was cold but very sweet and ready to get out of there!
He was taken to Louisville Metro Animal Services. He did not have a microchip or collar, so Louisville Metro Animal Services said they would hold him for a period to see if an owner would come forward.
