Have you ever wondered how animals learn the art of being compassionate? Do you know where they learn it from? If you ask animal lovers these questions, the only thing they’ll say is that animals have it in themselves to be compassionate and that no one has to teach it to them, but I wish to add another answer to these questions.

Animals learn the art of being compassionate also because of the kind of family they live with. I think that the family they live with also play an important part in shaping their pup’s feelings before hand, don’t you think? This is where I introduce Millie, a Labrador, a pup who surprised everyone when she solely elected to become a surrogate mommy to a tiny baby squirrel!

You see they found this baby squirrel on the ground. They tried to locate his mother, but failed so they decided to care for him until he was healthy enough to go back into the wild! Now see how Millie reacted!
