We’ve seen so many videos of dogs chasing their tails and although some can catch their tails pretty fast, they still have a lot of fun doing it! I think that it’s mainly because they have to rotate and their tail rotates with them that makes it so exciting, but I’m not sure!
Here’s a video of Quorra, a 16-week old golden retriever who is determined to catch her tail! But here’s some advice, there are actually many reasons why your dog could be chasing her tail: boredom, to make you laugh, something’s wrong (fleas or worms), genetics or compulsions.
If your fur kid is chasing her tail excessively, please consult your vet because after a point, especially if she’s aggressive about it, she can literally harm her tail by biting on it too hard.
