6 Things That Happen When You Go From Dog Lover To Dog Parent! (Part 2)

More than half the world can be dog lovers, but not everyone can become a dog parent. Of course, people who have never parented dogs will disagree, but wait till I tell you how things change. Here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!

As a dog lover, you can go anywhere and everywhere. You can go to beaches, to restaurants, to hotels, to caves and mountains without worrying about restrictions, but when you become a dog parent, things changed. a year before you plan your vacation you read every article on the internet to find out the best dog-friendly places in the world to visit. Yep.

2. Emotions

As a dog lover, you’ll cry every time something bad happens to a dog, but all it takes is another movie and a trip to the shelter to help you forget the heartache, but when you become a dog parent, getting over isn’t easy. You just want to cuddle up to your dog (possibly creep them out) just so you can spend every second with them and protect them so nothing happens to them. Nothing can help you forget what you just saw in a movie.

3. Selfies

When you’re a dog lover, your Instagram and Facebook wall is full of your selfies and maybe a few with dogs you met along the way, but when you become a dog parent, everything, including pictures in your house are of your dog. So much so that people know you by your dog’s name. You want the world to know everything there is to know about your dog and the moments you spend together. Everyone else can wait.

How many of these do you relate to? Let us know in the comments!
