10 Reasons Why Dogs Are Better Significant Others Than Humans! (Part 1)

If you were to ask me how much I love my dog, there would probably be no right answer. To the moon and back? Yes, of course, but is there anything else out there to describe the love we have for our dogs? Probably not. Then again, how much do our dogs love us?

We can’t even begin to imagine the love our dogs have for us. No scientist has even been able to come up with a metric to measure their love for us, it’s just impossible, people. In a perfect world, I’d choose to have my dog as my significant other, wouldn’t you? Wouldn’t dogs make the perfect partner? Here are some reasons why dogs are better significant others than most humans!

1. Hugs

A human would probably get mad if you keep asking for hugs, I mean, it can get a little creepy, right? Plus they smell. A dog’s hug is the bestest hug a human could want. There’s no hug like a dog hug and you know why? Because they’re endless! *brb, gotta grab a hug!*

2. Mailman Danger

Every dog knows that the mailman is hiding something. The look on their face tells that they’re hiding something, so what does a human do? Meh’ just carry on with their lives, but a dog wouldn’t. A dog would protect you from that mailman because nothing can go wrong on their watch. Watch it, mailman. Watch it.

3. Foot Warmer

Tell a human that you’d like them to sleep on your foot so they remain warm and they’ll give you that weird look. I tried, trust me, it didn’t work. Tell a dog once, and the dog will ensure that you never have cold feet!

4. Dangerous Shoes

Would you ever find a human chewing on a shoe? Probably never. But your dog knows what’s best for you so as soon as you bring home a pair of heels, your dog will chew the heel, make sure you can never wear it. Why? Well, aren’t heels dangerous? Only the perfect lover will make sure that you have nothing dangerous on you.

5. Support

How many times does a human significant other support your favorite team? Probably never, because why would they? They have a favorite team to support, isn’t it? Well, a dog is different. They will support your team, even if it’s the worst team on the planet. They don’t mind supporting your team so long as it makes you happy!
