When you wake up in the morning, what’s the first thing you think about when you see your dog? I know! Dog parents can’t stop thanking their dogs for being in their lives! I know what I do when I wake up – I look for my dog, hug him tight and tell him just how much I love him!
Dogs have this weird ability to teach humans how to be better humans, whether you believe it or not. They have this ability to shape us, help us do things the right way, show us the true meaning of life, don’t you agree? Here are some ways dogs help us become better humans!
1. They teach us how to share!
If you’re a dog parent, you know how important it is to your dog that you share everything, and I mean everything! You get so habituated to sharing things with your dog that sharing comes naturally from you! A good habit, isn’t it? How many times have you shared things with others?
2. They help us meet new people!
Oh, isn’t this a natural? Dogs are people-magnet so it’s only natural than when someone comes over to pet your dog, they talk to you and you become friends! Dogs help us widen our people-network so that we learn to connect with each other without the use of social media! How many new people have you connected with through your dog?
3. They help us take adventures!
Dogs don’t like to do what others do, they like to carve their own paths and force their humans on it too! Dogs know that going on adventures keeps you young and healthy and well, they know nothing bad ever comes from experiencing new things, correct?!
4. Your dog helps you become strong and not faint-hearted!
Before being a dog parent, how did you react when you saw dog poop? Honestly? I was grossed out. But now, I can pick up my dog’s poop without twitching! My dog has made me a stronger person with the ability to handle anything!
5. They teach you how to be yourself!
How many times have you butt-scooched with your dog? No, don’t lie! We know you’ve done it! Dogs show us the importance of being children at heart because age is just a number!
How many of you agree to this? Let us know in the comments! but we’re not done yet! Watch out for Part 2!
