12-Year-Old Boy Comes Up With A Brilliant Plan To Help Shelter Pups Find Their Loving Homes

Shelter pets are in need of loving homes, but some of them have trouble getting adopted. That’s why Darius Brown decided to embark on a journey to help them.

Darius is 12 years old and he’s very into fashion and style. He knows that being well-dressed creates a great first impression and can get you pretty far in life. He also loves animals – and these two passions of his collided when he decided to start sewing special bow ties for pets in shelters!

Why is Darius doing this? He was heartbroken when he found out just how many animals were stuck in shelters and wanted to help them. He thinks that when people see pups or cats in bow ties at the shelter, the adorableness will win them over and lead to the pets being adopted! And honestly, he’s not wrong – people love a well-dressed pup!

Darius first learned to sew from his sister and found he liked it, so he started taking classes and learned more advanced techniques on his own. Now, he designs each bow ties, purchases what he needs from a fabric store, and then gets to work making these lovely accessories. He then donates them to pets in shelters who are looking for homes!

Since then, Darius has formed a small company that he calls Beaux & Paws, and he receives bow ties requests all across the globe. He doesn’t currently have pets of his own due to the rules of where he lives, but he plans to change that one day.

Darius has big plans of attending Stanford University to study business law and fashion design one day, and he also dreams of a future home where he’d be able to foster pups and adopt three of his own. We know that he’s going to do great things with his life!
