Some of you may be familiar with the classic Disney movie, the Fox and the Hound! For the rest of you who don’t know what this implies, foxes were traditionally hunted down by hounds, making any cross-species friendship doomed to meet a heartbreaking end.
Luckily for these two, this isn’t a problem! One day, somewhere on a British farm, Gemma Holdway found five baby foxes that were only two days old. After watching the babies for a bit, Holdway came to realize that these babies had been abandoned by their mother, and will die soon if they don’t get care. She had to do something!
The foxes were all brought along to a specialist, who cared for them until they were ready to return to the wild. However, Holdway decided to keep one of them as a pet named Vixey, who soon became fast friends with the family Labrador Retriever!
