We’ve all heard the saying “fight like cats and dogs”, but you probably didn’t know that it means to fight fiercely and then make up with lots of cuddles and kisses afterwards!

Who knew the phrase described love/hate relationships? Think I’ve gotten the meaning wrong? Watch Buddy the golden retriever and Monroe the cat’s interactions, and you’ll find I’m quite right! These two buddies start out sweetly – kissing and licking and being nice to each other like real best friends. But then something snaps and they start fighting! The pup bares his teeth and the kit reaches out and bats his fur ball friend repeatedly on the face.

These two need to cool off! And then, just like that, they’re back to snuggling with each other and lovingly exchanging kisses. Aww! Oh wait, after a nice cuddle, they’re back to fighting again?
