Believe It or Not: Prime Hyundai’s Newest Car Consultant in Brazil is a Dog

When you walk in a car dealership, the last thing you would expect to see is a dog in a tie and a tuxedo strutting around the place complete with an employee badge.

But, that is now a common scene at a Hyundai dealership in Brazil. Two Brazilian news outlet, A Gazeta and ES360, have featured the story and it tells of a bond born between a stray dog and Prime Hyundai’s manager, Emerson Mariano. It all started with the manager wanting to give a stray dog some food, water, and shelter.

Touched by the warmth and generosity, the dog decided to stick around and became a darling to the manager and other staff. It was then that the manager decided to adopt him permanently. The dog is estimated to be about a year old and has already been taken to the vet to receive the necessary shots.

He now goes by the name Tucson after the Hyundai crossover SUV and expectedly, the name brings with it some privileges. Tucson is now the proud owner of a dog house that the employees put up for him. His reputation has also exceeded beyond the dealership premises, and you can now catch him on Instagram flaunting his newfound lifestyle. And would you believe it, he is now at 140k followers and counting.

According to A Gazeta, Tucson will soon be appearing in some advertisements. It seems his stars have finally aligned. For who would have imagined? From a stray dog to an internet celebrity!
