Ace and Murphy are two peas in a pod; especially when their human siblings aren’t around, the two Golden Retrievers often embark on many adventures; usually to the comical chagrin of their mother.
The two pups make an interesting duo; Murphy is usually obedient to her mother’s requests to come inside, but Ace, on the other hand, leads their resistance. The cheeky pup usually listens but a good time can override his obedience causing him to have fun till his batteries fall flat. The more obedient Murphy is easily convinced by her brother to join him in his fun, after all the FOMO is real. However, their episodes of mischief are quite rare and according to their mother it happens “once in a blue moon or when it’s snowing.”
In this case, the snowfall definitely hyped the pair to stay outside longer than usual despite the frosty air. On a snowy day, the dogs and their human siblings were having fun out in the snow; making snow angels and building snow forts. When they were asked to come in there was the usual resistance from the pups. The two were having a blast and weren’t planning on stopping anytime soon, when they decided to get in the house their mother was not prepared for what she saw.
Normally, the dogs are dusted with bits of snow on their fur, but the extent of their fun was displayed in giant snowballs stuck to the fur along their legs. The snowballs weighed around 25 pounds in total but didn’t seem to cause the pair any discomfort.
While their mother snipped the snowballs off the dogs remained unphased, probably looking forward to their next antic!
