Brandon Turnbow was driving down a highway in Cresson, Texas in his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he witnessed something absolutely horrifying. It was February 2016, and he was on his way to visit his father, when the event occurred.
On the 171 highway, Turnbow noticed a vehicle stopped at the side of the road. But it wasn’t just stopped. There was a person there who was repeatedly violently hitting a tiny, defenseless white dog again and again. In his rear view mirror, Turnbow kept a close eye on the happenings, and he soon saw the man in question toss the poor pup out of the car. The vehicle then drove away, leaving the poor dog by the curb.
Turnbow hurried over to where the pup was, fearing the worst. Thankfully, though, the dog was alive and wasn’t severely physically injured. But he was terrified from the abuse he received, and seeing another man approach him so soon likely was quite a shock for the pup.
Turnbow knew he couldn’t just leave the dog there, so he picked the pup up and carefully wrapped him inside his jacket. He then drove after the vehicle that had abused the dog and sent one final message through a number one hand sign to the person driving it. He then drove off with his new pup, who he naturally decided to adopt!
The dog’s name is now Mr. Davidson, a fitting addition to Turnbow’s other pup, who is named Harley. Turnbow was so touched by what he’d witnessed that he even wrote a song just for Mr. Davidson, which you can listen to below. Mr. Davidson is now Turnbow’s riding co-pilot, and he has his own vest and riding goggles!
