A puppy born without eyes was given a second shot at life and is relishing it to the fullest.
The pup's story started when she lost her eyes due to her former parent's negligence. Her parents left her outside in a yard and didn't take responsibility when her illness spread to her eyes.
Animal control eventually intervened and went to court to access the dog. After the legal dispute was resolved, the dog named Puddin was ultimately granted a second shot at life and relocated from the abusive family, but not before she lost her eyesight.
Puddin's eyes were removed because her illness rendered both of them useless. While it was a difficult period, the pup handled it with grace and was anxious to begin a new life with a new family despite her ordeal.
It was love at first sight when Corey showed up at the shelter and met Puddin. Her cute ears and extraordinary personality were all Corey needed to fall in love with the sweet pup.
Most dogs cope well with the loss of their sight. All it takes is changing how they are cared for to get them back on their paws. While blind dogs require extra attention, they are just as joyful, entertaining, and affectionate as their sighted counterparts.
Corey decided to adopt Puddin after meeting her, and the pup was overjoyed to become a permanent member of his family.
