Anyone who has ever owned a Beagle pup will know this to be the universal truth – these pups will gorge themselves senseless, and then try to eat some more!

It seems like they just don’t know the meaning of the word “full”, which can be a problem if you’re trying to keep them healthy.

You can see some of the steps this Mom has taken to keep this issue in check. For starters, Daisy the Beagle pup is well trained – she has to sit at her eating corner and wait there before she is served breakfast. A wonderful thing, since it’s a great way of reinforcing her training!

Another thing that Daisy’s Mom has also done is gotten a very special bowl. You can see it is not empty – it has divets and patterns in it! This makes it harder for Daisy to scarf down everything at once and forces her to eat slowly. Important, when you’re trying to prevent bloat!
