Disabled Bulldog Is Not Alone During His First Swim!

Despite his limitations, Bonsai the bulldog is overcoming his disabilities and continues to thrive. The dog is afflicted with caudal regression and sacrocaudal dysgenesis, likely combined with a variation of spina bifida but he’s not letting that stop him from living his life!

Now that Bonsai is healed and doing well, his caretakers are letting him enjoy a little fun in the sun with his buddy, Ransom and the pair seem to be having a great day together!

You’ll notice Bonsai is wearing a doggie life jacket to help keep him afloat. This is helpful with his health issues, but even without them, as a bulldog he should wear one around water since those little smooshy bulldog faces have a hard time staying above water.
