The idea that anyone could steal a helpless puppy is a saddening and heartbreaking thought, especially when it seems that they don’t want to give that dog a home, but merely sell them off.
Houston, Texas authorities are currently investigating the identity of a man who allegedly stole an English bulldog from a woman in the southeast area of the city.
The incident occurred on the 3rd of May, when the police department in Houston received reports from south Wayside that spoke of the alleged theft. The woman who owned the English bulldog had met up with a teenage boy who said he wanted to buy the dog, which is worth a whopping $2,500.
Surveillance footage taken at the scene shows the young man running away after holding the small bulldog puppy. He was supposedly examining the puppy at the time, then he began making threats to the woman before taking off running.
The teenager is described as being a black male, between the ages of 16 to 18, with black hair and brown eyes. He likely weighs between 150 and 160 pounds with a height of between 5’10” and 6′, and he was wearing blue jeans and a blue coat at the time.
