While we, humans, detest the long and cold winter, one adorable husky in Alabama named, Wilson, adores it and even spends as much time outdoors just to experience it, more so when it rains and snows.
His dad, Taylor Reed, shared that Wilson abhors the heat so much that during the summer months, Wilson seeks the coldest corners of their house such as the top of air vents or porcelain toilet bowls. When Alabama’s weather started to cool off, Wilson couldn’t be happier. The sweet pup has been found spending more and more time figuratively chilling out the front yard as temperatures dove down below zero.
He was so enamored with the cold weather that he welcomes the rain and snow, much to the amusement of his dad and disapproval of their uninformed neighbors.
To assuage their fears, Wilson’s dad decided to post a video online, illustrating how the pup insists on staying outside when instructed to retreat inside the house.
“I just have to bundle up and embrace the cold and go outside with him,” Reed shared.
Fortunately, Reed discovered a way to persuade Wilson to go inside.
“I take him on a quick five-minute car ride down the street and back, letting him hang out the window for one last feel of the cold air before taking him to bed,” Reed said.
Going to such length to bribe his cold-worshipping pup to come inside has so far worked.
