Around 150 registered dachshund and their owners were a part of costume contests, pet tricks and races on a grassy stage in the middle of Fourth Avenue.
The event draws participants from all over Washington and from out of state. Owners lined up before the parade began, in order to showcase their pets in costumes on a grassy stage
