Determined Beagle Proves That Sometimes Even Doctors Can Be Wrong

Meet Lana, an adorable beagle pup who underwent a surgery and the surgeon mentioned that she had just 50% chance of recovery. Was the surgeon right? Up until yesterday, maybe, but not today!

From personal experiences when a surgeon says that a pup has 50% chance of recovery, it’s usually more like saying, ‘I doubt he/she will make it’. I may be wrong, but being friends with a surgeon myself this is what I have come to realize. This beagle pup was told the same thing until about 24 hours ago, things began changing!

According to the original uploader on YouTube, “Lana came to Midwest BREW unable to walk. She had surgery on 4/7/16 to repair some compressed discs. The surgeon gave her a 50% chance of recovery. This video was taken on 4/30/16…. Lana is trying to stand up! She still has a long way to go but this is a huge improvement.”
