Being a disabled person can be hard enough as it is – what more a dog! There aren’t a lot of options out there for dogs that have special needs, and it can be pretty hard to get equipment for them. Most of them are extremely expensive and often have to be custom made.
Luckily, there are kind souls out there who want to help these disabled dogs! A great example is Ziva, a Dachshund dog with undeveloped back legs. She can drag herself along with her front legs, but it would hurt after a while – which is why this group for pet disabilities gave her a drag bag! Now she doesn’t have to worry about friction burns when moving about.
But that’s not all they’ve done for her – they’ve also gotten her a walker, so she can walk and run wherever she pleases! A rare freedom for this dog, and one that she truly deserves.
