Dog Adopts Lamb After Her Mother Rejected Her

A dog has adopted a lamb after the lamb’s mother rejected her multiple times. The lamb’s mother pushed her away when she was born and refused to accept her into her fold despite several attempts.

The dog, Max, started mothering and licking the lamb, Beau, through a fence. It wasn’t long before the duo fell in love and became inseparable. Olivia Akers, the dog and lamb’s parent, said they do everything together, including sleeping next to each other.

Max acts as Beau’s mother, protecting and playing with her. Interestingly, Beau picked up some dog tendencies from Max, such as scratching the back of her ears.

When Beau became old enough to join the other sheep, Akers returned her to the flock. However, her bond with Max remains intact as they still spend together daily.

Akers took to TikTok to share a video of Max and Beau. The video went viral, amassing millions of views and thousands of comments from Netizens who were stunned by their beautiful relationship.

Thankfully, Akers has no plans of hindering Max and Beau’s friendship from continuing to blossom even in the future. She has assured everyone that she would allow them to continue spending time together for the rest of their lives.
