Dog Loves Watching Walkouts In The Gym After Being Rescued From The Street

Allie was a poor pup on the streets who had been dealt a heavy blow by life. Thankfully, someone found her and dropped her off at a shelter.

While putting together what must have happened to her before she was dumped on the streets, the shelter discovered she’d had “several litters of puppies.” This led them to believe that she was once used in a puppy mill since it was not uncommon for puppy mill operators to dump mother dogs on the streets when they were no longer effective breeders.

Soon after Allie arrived at the shelter, Josh heard about her from his boss and decided to adopt her. Josh’s boss had thought the duo would be a good fit. However, things didn’t go well initially.

In an interview, Josh explained that Allie would often hide at the back of her crate as she was terrified of people. He’d have to tempt her with treats to make her come out. Determined to help her overcome her fear of humans, Josh worked on helping her build her confidence.

After six months, his efforts paid off as she became comfortable around people. Seeing that Allie had gotten good at hanging out with people, Josh started taking her to the gym. Soon, it became one of the activities she looked forward to doing.

Allie enjoys greeting the people she meets at the gym and would often stand and watch them do their workouts.
