He Was Dropped Off At The Shelter Because He Is Deaf... Now He Needs Your Help

There are many needy pups around the world in shelters who need forever homes. Bob the 10-month-old deaf dachshund mix is one of them.

He was dropped off at The Mayhew Animal Home in London when the family who had him realized they could no longer care for him properly or dedicate enough time to him.

Bob left behind a brother in his old home, and when he first arrived, the pup seemed very sick – he didn’t want to eat, he vomited and had diarrhea, and he showed neurological signs. But when he was tested by vets, it turned out he was healthy. He was given medicine to clear his system and an ear infection was treated, and slowly, his health began to improve with his happiness and spirit.

Now, the pup is better than ever and has bonded with many of the staff at the shelter. He’s even learned to understand sign language, walk on a leash, and has been toilet trained. The pup has some issues with balance, but he’s a strong and confident pup and makes it through just fine! Want to adopt Bob? Contact 020 8962-8000 or check out the shelter’s website. Like and share to help him find a forever home!
