Enzo the German shepherd just discovered another awesome treat and this time, it’s a fruit! Yep looks like he loves the water melon and isn’t going to stop eating it anytime soon!
This adorable fur ball is absolutely loving his watermelon and why not? After all everyone loves a nice, juicy watermelon, right? but the question that lingers in everyone’s head, “is it good for my fur ball?”
According to American Kennel Club, “The answer is yes, with a couple of precautions. Seeds could cause an intestinal blockage, so make sure you remove them. It’s also probably not a good idea to allow a dog to chew on the rind, because it can cause gastrointestinal upset. The fruit itself is a health-food powerhouse, low in calories and packed with nutrients—vitamins A, B6, and C, and potassium.”
