You know what’s really awesome? Winning a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records! You know what’s even better?
Winning the aforementioned record for something pup-related! Well, the Chicago White Sox did exactly that on the 13th of September, and it was truly magical! It’s not unusual to see fur balls attending baseball games, and plenty of teams host “Bark in the Park” nights, which involves fans bringing along their pups to watch the games. But there’s no denying that the White Sox did it best when they hosted an event like this so big that they won the World Record for most pups attending a sporting event! Yes, that is a real record!
The White Sox and Cleaveland Indians game hosted a grand total of 1,122 pups! Imagine that many fur balls gathering to watch a game of baseball! How do you stop those pups from chasing after the balls themselves? I have no idea how it all works, but combining a favorite sport and a favorite pet seems like the perfect way to spend a day – or a night!
Even better, the White Sox won the game that night, and I’d say it was because they had more than a thousand fur balls cheering them on! All the infectious energy in the air from eager pups must have really helped them win the game! To be fair, I’d be giving it my all too if I knew that so many adorable friends were watching!
So here’s to breaking more pup-related records, and attending many more sporting events full of fur balls! This is truly what the best things in life are made of! Don’t forget to like and share this wonderful story with your friends and family!
