German Shepherd Found Chained Up In Mud Gets A New Home And New Life!

On a rainy day in Los Angeles, Robin Jampol, founder and president of Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles, met Kenya. Someone had gone to a plant nursery and called the rescue because they’d seen a miserable looking dog.

The previous owners of Kenya, a gorgeous and brilliantly white German shepherd, had died, and the people who inherited her didn’t take care of her at all. Kenya was chained up outside where she couldn’t move. She was covered in dirt and mud.

A rescuer brought Kenya in and said that she could tell Kenya had given up on life. Jampol didn’t know whether or not Kenya would have health issues.

One of the dog’s eyes was held tightly shut, and she couldn’t tell what was wrong with it. What she could tell, though, was how hard her rescue would work to make Kenya better.

A little love went a long way! A few weeks after arriving at the Rescue, Kenya was adopted by a couple who absolutely adore her.

Kenya is healthy and happy in her new home. This story couldn’t possibly have come out with a happier ending! Share away, people!
