This woman had no idea that grooming her adorable golden retriever at PETCO would turn out to be this serious. Something needs to be done.
For this Virginia woman, her golden retriever was everything to her, possibly her whole world, but little did she know that her world was about to end. I know I’m supposed to share good articles, happy articles, dogs smiling and all, but I had to share this with you so you can save your dog’s fate. Your dog’s life.
On Friday morning, Allison Marks dropped her adorable 2-year old golden retriever off at a PETCO in Midlothian, VA. To check on Colby, the golden retriever, that afternoon, she called PETCO and was requested to meet one of the PETCO managers at a local animal shelter. As soon as she arrived, she found out that her golden retriever was dead.
According to the assistant manager, the golden retriever was found in the drying unit. Apparently the technician responsible for Colby left the dog alone in the drying unit and left to go to a graduation. Allison wants justice because there’s a possibility that her golden retriever died of a possible heat stroke during a routine grooming at PETCO.
PETCO, on the other hand, has released a statement on Monday stating that a thorough investigation is ongoing. They stated, “The groomers involved have been suspended while we complete a thorough investigation, and we are in contact with the pet parents and coordinating with local Animal Services to understand what happened in this terrible situation.“
What in the world is going on? Check this out and please don’t forget to SHARE this post with your friends. We have to save our pets from such irresponsibility.
