For an energetic puppy who isn’t very good with understanding what having patience is like, training them can be pretty difficult. It seems that they get excitable about everything – which makes it a nightmare if you need them to sit down and stay put!

This, arguably, makes it all the more important that they learn patience now than later.

Think about it – sure, this Labrador Retriever puppy jumping up for a snack is one of the cutest sights to behold, but can you imagine if this was a full-grown pup jumping at full height? As much as you adore your pup, they would become a walking health hazard! This is probably why this Dad is instilling training early for his beloved pooch.

Sadly, it doesn’t seem like this puppy is too happy about all of this. Why can’t she just get her treat and be done with it? What is the point of sitting still for it, when Dad is holding it just within reach?
