How Georgie and Her Mom Became Best Friends with the FedEx Driver

Sometimes, all it takes is an act of kindness from a stranger to make your entire day. Gina learned that the day she met her FedEx Driver.

Gina Malcouronne works at an animal hospital. It’s a pretty stressful job but it’s manageable since she gets to bring her dog, Georgie, with her every day. Georgie was a rescue dog who had endured starvation and abuse. When she adopted him, they immediately became best friends. Usually, they eat lunch in her car just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital.

One day when she was parked in the Starbucks parking lot drinking her coffee, she noticed a FedEx truck pulling up beside her car. Not wanting to be around anyone, she rolled up her windows and kept her head straight. This lets others know she’s not in the talking mood, but this didn’t stop this FedEx driver. He was extremely pleasant and said “Hello!” Then, he handed her two FedEx dog treats and said they were for Georgie.

She examined the attractive packaging and noticed all the ingredients were listed on the back. This is awesome since many dogs have allergies.

After handing her the package, he smiled and left. She thanked him on behalf of Georgie who wasted no time gobbling it all up. He enjoyed it so much that he gets excited whenever he spots FedEx drivers.

This kind gesture by the FedEx driver made her day, and he gained lifelong friends in Gina and Georgie. Hopefully, they will meet again soon.
